The Musician

Mike Hattem is a 29 year-old alternative country/folk-rock singer-songwriter from New York City. His songwriting and music are reminiscent of Bob Dylan, Townes van Zandt, Ryan Adams, the Grateful Dead and other country-rock groups from the late 60s and alt.country bands from the late 90s.

Along with his sorrowful, lonesome voice and his incisively poignant lyrics, Mike evokes a feeling of respect for the past and hope for the future by both embracing tradition and looking forward.

Mike Hattem sings, writes, and plays guitar, mandolin, harmonica, and lap steel. He is currently working on a full-length album and is selling a 7 song promo EP whenever and wherever he plays for five dollars.
