MARCH 12, 2005 - I am now in the final final stages of mixing the record and it should be done in a week
or so. All the artwork is done as well and I will be posting that this week. I also updated the song pages
to have the latest versions of the songs. I am currently putting together a band to go out and promote the songs and
will be playing under the name "National Steel" (the logo for the band is below). As soon as we get some dates confirmed
they will posted immediately. Thanks to everybody who has bought the preview CD through the mail and in person.
The 5 song preview will only be available for another 2 weeks so if you want to get one do it now. To get on the mailing
list for info on the release date of the cd and upcoming show dates send an email to mikehattem@hotmail.com. Thanks for all the support guys.
FEBRUARY 1, 2005 - All the tracking for the cd is just about done. I'll be spending the bulk of this month
mixing the record, which is alot more work than you would think. But I'm really looking forward to getting it out. I've been
getting all kinds of really nice emails and bulletin board posts so I'm gonna set up a new page this month and post some "quotes".
Thanks to everybody who has bought a copy of the preview EP this past month. Interest was more than I expected and it looks
like the cd might do well enough to help me make another one. Also I have begun to put a band together with the hopes of being
ready for the release of the record. That's when the real fun's gonna begin. I still currently am looking for a drummer and
keyboard player so if anybody knows someone or is interested themselves contact me. Other than that, I hope this update finds
everyone well and leaves them better.
JANUARY 2, 2005 - I am currently finishing up work on the new cd, "NATIONAL
STEEL" which should be ready for release by very early Spring. I am not sure whether it will come out on Statue Records or
if we will be releasing it independently but either way it will be available by April. I am currently selling a six song promo
EP wherever and whenever I play for five dollars and you can order it through the website by going to the ORDERING INFO page.
Include an email address and I will contact you to let you know that I recieved the MO and have sent the cd out to you.
